Spring Time in Maine

Spring Time in Maine

Where did the time go? We have been very busy here at Beachstone HQs. Here are some updates we’d like to share with you.

New Location
Well we ran out of space. Beachstone has moved into an up and coming industrial zone at 160 Presumpscot Street in Portland, Maine. We chose this space because it has an overhead door at ground level, faces south/southwest which gives great sunlight, and has plenty of off street parking!

Projects
Camp Sebago Summer Camp: We began work on a new venture with MGA Caststone in Oxford, Maine and Beachstone. With the design expertise of SMRT ARchitects, in Portland, Maine, we cast what could quite possibly be the largest single trough sink made from 100% recycled glass in the US, or at least in Maine! Check it out on our gallery page and our video page.

Farmhouse block sinks: Yes, you read that correctly. We are building a line of solid block farmhouse style sinks made from Beachstone! Stay tuned as we expand this product line.

Tile: Well, we’re not there yet, but we are working on a new mix recipe that will allow us to make Beachstone tile in sizes up to 12″x12″. This will help complete the bathroom design process coordinating with Beachstone vanities, shelving, shower seats and tile. Bath sinks next??? Yes! Cast your vote now!

Thank you all for your support as we grow our unique product line.
